The tram continues to the cinemas and dining out and large retail complexes of the Purley Way including Ikea and on to Wimbledon.

There is the useful Forestdale parade of shops a few minutes walk away including Co-Op, and Greggs and an award winning fish and chip shop.

There is a M & S food hall near the Gravel Hill tram stop for any last minute forgotten luxuries before the weekend. The long garden provides a front row seat for the annual Biggin Hill air show and the scenic Addington Court golf course is nearby which is open to all for weekend unwinding. For long lazy Summer's evenings and a drink in the park the Addington Park is ideal and less than 15 minutes' walk away and ideal for dog walking too.

The 64 bus is another way into Croydon or 5 mins to the historic Selsdon village well known for its popular 200 acre National Trust nature reserve and bird sanctuary and famous De Vere Seldon Park Hotel and Golf course, brasserie, sports club, and golf course, where there is a wide range of shops and a Sainsbury's, library, GP, and the Selsdon Primary school.
